Rekindling the Fire with Simon Park, June 28th – July 3rd 2015
Rekindling the Fire –Evolutionary Prana Vinyasa Teacher’s Practice Immersion; for practitioners or teachers with Simon Park.
Through the alchemy of yoga, we will cultivate a progression of five Prana Vinyasa practices from foundation to the most subtle drawing from the Foundation and Elemental sequences of Prana Vinyasa moving from the earth (hip opening-armbalances), water (wave backbending), fire (arm balances/handstand) and the breath of the heart (advance backbends) and space (meditation-lunar prana vinyasa).
The focus will be on refining our embodiment through:
*in-depth practice, discussion, and teaching of Prana Vinyasa wave sequences
*transformational hands-on-assist with physical and energetic alignment + integration of therapeutic Thai massage and partner work
*weaving in creative handstand transitions, inversion and arm-balance variations
*cultivating movement and seated meditation
*study of selected yoga passages and sutras to weave into the flow of the class
Emerge renewed from the Prana Vinyasa wave with tools for teaching but even more important – cellular activation to vibrate at the next level!
Immersion can serve as an introduction to Prana Vinyasa or as a refinement for Prana Vinyasa teachers.
